2018 Award of Excellence Dinner
The Tiger Foundation presented three 2018 “Awards of Excellence” on October 2, 2018, to LRCH and Razorback football star Muskie Harris ’73, legendary LRCH Coach and Arkansas Sports Hall-of-Famer Clyde Horton ’47, and Baltimore Orioles and Baseball Hall-of-Famer Brooks Robinson ’55. Each year, we honor those who have made a special impact on Little Rock Central High in one of the four pillars of education that the Tiger Foundation has adopted: Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Citizenship.

2017 Awards of Excellence Dinner
On December 6, 2017, we presented Little Rock Central High Tiger Foundation “Awards of Excellence” to longtime Central High Guidance Counselor and Guidance Department Chair Mr. Sam Blair and to Dr. Sybil Jordan Hampton, one of Arkansas’s most prominent leaders in education and philanthropy. Part of the legacy of Central High and the Foundation is to honor great men and women associated with Central, and Mr. Blair and Dr. Hampton are two of the absolute best. Proceeds from the dinner benefit The Tiger Foundation and help fund our projects at Central.

2016 Awards of Excellence Dinner
On October 13, 2016, the Inaugural Tiger Foundation Awards of Excellence Dinner honored the Very Rev. Dr. Christoph Keller, III, Julie Keller, and the late Roosevelt Thompson, raising valuable funds for The Tiger Foundation and its projects. Dr. Keller was a former Student Body President who initiated organized soccer in central Arkansas. Julie Keller is a volunteer powerhouse, raising money for the Tiger Foundation and other organizations such as the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Roosevelt Thompson was a former Student Body President as well as an all-around scholar, All-Star football player, National Merit Scholar, and Rhodes Scholar. Sadly, he died in a traffic accident in 1984 during his last semester of his senior year at Yale University.
