Creating Better Citizens and a Better Community

The Tiger Foundation is passionate in its belief that being a good citizen and a good student go hand in hand. Students at LRCH are empowered to become valuable members of their community through a number of efforts supported by the Tiger Foundation.

The Investments

The following are some of the current and recent initiatives supported by the Tiger Foundation:

• The Tiger Foundation made it possible for the LRCH Class of 1960 to set up a fund that raises money to buy school supplies for needy students.

• The Tiger Foundation helped pay some of the travel expenses for the school’s award-winning Memory Project Team to attend the National Oral History Association conference in Oklahoma City, OK.

• The Tiger Foundation provided a $1,000 grant for Project Graduation, a substance-free party sponsored by the school’s PTSA for all LRCH graduates following commencement.

The Return

The Tiger Foundation is proud to share where we allocate our resources to support Little Rock Central High School. However, what we are most excited about is not where the money goes, but the impact it is having on the lives of Tiger students and faculty. See firsthand how your support creating better citizens and a better community.

… thank you for your generous financial support for our recent trip to Oklahoma City to attend the national conference of the Oral History Association … this invaluable experience would not have been possible without your assistance.
